Description

The Catering Supervisor supervises the total catering operations in one of our units. This position includes duties such as catering order taking, driver scheduling, catering production and preparation, general cleanliness, and organization of the catering department. The Catering Supervisor works with outside customers and directly communicates with guests daily.

As the Catering Supervisor, you will supervise the preparation, presentation, and service of our food. The role involves interacting closely with catering and retail employees, as well as restaurant managers.

Essential Functions

• Takes and modifies orders over phone using POS
• Enters online orders into POS
• Resolves customer concerns with manager approval
• Assigns deliveries to catering employees
• Begins and completes baking/food preparation
• Assembles catering food in baskets, trays, and bowls
• Makes deliveries by vehicle or foot
• Responsible for breakfast and lunch preparation
• Responsible for clean-up duties
• Empties trash as required
• Distributes tips daily
• Executes Catering Sales initiatives, including daily callbacks, menu drops, community events, tastings, and sales leads

• Maintains accurate cash flow and financial transaction integrity
• Prepares and organizes food for delivery to guests

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent, or in progress
• Must complete CBC driver training, pass MVR, and maintain a valid driver’s license with insurance
• State Foodhandler card/ServSafe certification as applicable
• Preferably 3+ months experience in guest service, restaurant or retail environment preferred
• Proficient in MS Office and POS systems
• Strong guest service and communication skills
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
