Delaware North at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan is seeking a Seasonal Catering Supervisor to oversee event spaces, train and supervise catering team members, and ensure high service standards.

You will work under the department manager, support set-up and breakdown, ensure responsible alcohol service, and respond to guest questions and issues; evenings, weekends, and events are part of the schedule.

Formación

• Six months’ experience in hotel, full-service restaurant, catering facility, or club environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to work accurately, efficiently, and courteously in a high-pressure environment.
• Effective communication with guests and ability to convey menu information and service preferences.
• No college degree required.

The opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is searching for a seasonal Catering Supervisor to join our team at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. As Catering Supervisor, you will work under the direction of the department manager to ensure effective operations of all event spaces, including training and supervision of catering team members.

Pay

$18.00 – $22.00 / hour

More about you

• Minimum of six months’ experience in hotel, full-service restaurant, catering facility, or club environment required
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to work accurately, efficiently, and courteously in a high-pressure environment
• Ability to effectively communicate with guests, and retain and communicate menu information and service preferences
• No college degree required

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for set-up, service, and clean up.
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire length of shift, including walking up and down stairs and lifting as the work duties demand.
• May be required to work in confined and/or narrow spaces.
