Legends Global is seeking an Intern Catering & Special Events Coordinator at The Star, Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters in Frisco, TX. You will support day-to-day operations for the catering and special events department, plan and execute events, and assist the Director of Special Events.

This internship offers exposure to event planning, BEO creation, menu coordination with culinary teams, and on-site event management while developing professional skills in a fast-paced hospitality

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in hospitality coordinator role.
• Working knowledge of culinary/food & beverage.
• Detail oriented with experience creating BEOs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest and understanding of the special events or hospitality industry.
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office including document formatting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative with the ability to think outside the box.

Responsibilities

• Plan, detail and execute catering requests for internal and special events.
• Create event orders, floor plans and venue logistics reports.
• Prepare and execute BEO meetings.
• Collaborate with culinary team to select menu options and track internal costs.
• Create event orders for ticketed events.
• Support the Director of Catering & Special Events with planning and execution.
• Provide documentation to accounting for post-event invoices.
• Plan and execute special events across varying experience levels.
• Support catering operations for all ticketed events and special events.
• Attend staff and stadium production meetings.
• Support day-to-day front-of-house operations including BEOs, change reports, weekly event tracking.
• Monitor venue calendar for catering requests.
• Assist with on-site event management for front and back of house.
• Develop knowledge of conflict resolution in events.
