Job summary

Erickson Senior Living is hiring a Catering Server at Ashby Ponds. You will serve residents and guests, multi-task with urgency, and fulfill roles including serving, bussing, runner, and catering support to ensure a high-quality dining experience.

Ideal candidates have service or kitchen experience, strong communication, and endurance for long shifts, with weekend and holiday availability. The role offers benefits, on-site medical, and a 401(k) match, all within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Prior service and/or kitchen experience is preferred, but we will train.
• Friendly and energetic communication skills required.
• Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand, carry trays, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• A solid work ethic and a positive, team attitude.

Responsibilities

• Become a subject matter expert on menu items, daily specials, and preparation methods.
• Engage with residents and guests by sharing daily menu highlights and recommendations.
• Accurately record food and beverage orders and deliver an exceptional dining experience.
• Coordinate food orders to ensure timely and efficient delivery to each table.
• Delivers food from kitchen to correct tables and seats.
• Communicate any guest needs or special requests to the server.
• Assist other servers in clearing soiled dishes.
