Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring for a Catering Senior Captain at our campus dining program in Cape Girardeau, MO. This full-time role supervises the Catering Department, oversees meal preparation and service at functions, and may supervise truck deliveries under the Catering Director’s guidance.

The position requires catering experience and at least 6 months in a supervisory role; compensation is $22.00 per hour with benefits including 401k, PTO, and meal perks. Schedule varies with business needs.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of supervisory experience preferred.
• Catering experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Catering Department employees and assists in performance appraisals.
• Determine workload from catering orders and discuss setup with function group leaders.
• Assemble and deliver food and supplies to scheduled functions.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control and serving temperatures.
• Maintain sanitation and safety of equipment and work area.
• Interact with customers and resolve concerns in a courteous manner.
