Shaner Hotels offers an exciting opportunity to be part of Cincinnati’s newest hospitality destination. Located in The District at Clifton Heights, overlooking the University of Cincinnati and close to downtown, our hotel features modern, vibrant spaces including a dynamic lobby, sunlit event areas, and a rooftop bar, Iris Café, and more.

We are seeking a Catering Sales Manager to develop and maintain client relationships, manage bookings, and promote our services. The role involves working flexible hours, collaborating with departments, and actively soliciting new business to meet revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Assist the Director of Catering and Sales in daily operations and compliance.
• Meet with clients, showcase facilities, and tailor menus to their needs.
• Ensure guest satisfaction during and after events, and follow up for re-bookings.
• Manage bookings, proposals, contracts, and Banquet Event Orders.
• Attend meetings, market research, and maintain a professional hotel image.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in Sales, Catering, or Convention Services.
• Strong communication skills in English, bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Knowledge of sales tools, room setups, and local attractions.
