Qualifications

• 3+ years of catering, hospitality, event management, or related experience.
• Ability to manage multiple events with strong attention to detail.
• Strong client-facing skills and relationship-building ability.
• Experience with budgets, contracts, and catering sales.
• Leadership experience including coaching and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full catering lifecycle from inquiry to post-event follow-up.
• Build and maintain client relationships as the primary catering contact.
• Collaborate with culinary, operations, and service teams for seamless events.
• Develop proposals, menus, contracts, and pricing aligned with client needs.
• Coordinate staffing, equipment, room setup, timelines and vendors.
• Monitor budgets, revenue targets, and profitability metrics.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and company standards compliance.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the full catering lifecycle, from initial client inquiries and event planning to execution and post-event follow-up.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as the primary point of contact for catering events.
• Collaborate with culinary, operations, and service teams to ensure seamless event execution and exceptional guest experiences.
• Develop event proposals, menus, contracts, and pricing while ensuring alignment with client needs and business objectives.
• Coordinate logistics including staffing, equipment, room set-up, timelines, and vendor partnerships.
• Monitor catering budgets, revenue targets, and profitability metrics.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards.
• Lead, coach, and develop catering team members, fostering a culture of hospitality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities to grow catering sales and enhance client satisfaction through innovative offerings and service excellence.
• Resolve client concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience and long-term relationship.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in catering, hospitality, event management, food service, or a related field.
• Proven ability to manage multiple events and priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong client-facing skills with a customer-first mindset and a track record of building lasting relationships.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience managing budgets, contracts, and catering sales activities.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including team supervision, coaching, and staff development.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation regulations, and hospitality best practices.
• Proficiency with catering, event management, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, based on business needs.
• Passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
