Your Growth Path

Sales Manager – Director of Sales – Regional Director of Sales

Your Focus

  1. Interview, select, train, schedule, coach, and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with HHM core values.
  2. Oversee all catering sales, targeting existing and new corporate and social markets.
  3. Solicit new business through prospecting calls and outside client visits.
  4. Maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel, both orally and in written form, to previous, current, and potential clients.
  5. Handle account details, ensuring all aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented.
  6. Service accounts including BEOs and Group Resumes when necessary.
  7. Prepare information for, meet with, and entertain clients as appropriate to obtain potential business.
  8. Provide exceptional service and acquire high-quality catered products for our clients.
  9. Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, to provide direction to staff.
  10. Follow sustainability guidelines related to HHM’s EarthView program.
  11. Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment, and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
  12. Perform other duties as requested by management.

Your Background and Skills

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related industry preferred.
  • Proven track record in catering and banquet sales required.

Work Environment and Context

  • Work schedule varies and may include holidays and weekends.
  • Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
