We are hiring a Catering & Sales Manager.

This role focuses on selling and managing social and corporate catering events, including guest rooms, with a 50/50 split between corporate group bookings and social events. The Catering Sales Manager must work a flexible schedule, including weekends, to oversee event execution. During peak seasons, the schedule may shift to Tuesday–Saturday. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Selling guest rooms, banquet food & beverage, upselling contracted groups, and maximizing hotel revenue.
  2. Negotiating with clients, planning event arrangements, and coordinating with departments to ensure successful events.
  3. Soliciting new business, contract negotiation, and coordinating marketing efforts.
  4. Identifying operational challenges and developing solutions in collaboration with staff and clients.
  5. Using current trends in event management and design to enhance offerings.
  6. Working closely with the sales team to ensure maximum utilization of facilities.
  7. Improving customer service based on feedback and personal judgment.
  8. Maintaining sales quotas and developing ideas to increase revenue during low demand periods.
  9. Finalizing banquet event details and creating personalized guest experiences.
  10. Soliciting future business from current and past customers.
  11. Leading by example and maintaining a positive attitude.
  12. Fostering teamwork and delegating responsibilities as appropriate.
  13. Reviewing plans and objectives regularly and maintaining records on cancellations and reports.
  14. Providing site tours and facilitating various meetings related to events.

The minimum requirements include:

  • At least 2 years of catering sales, hotel catering/convention services, banquet, hotel sales, or culinary arts experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
