Job Description
This key position is responsible for driving catering sales, ensuring exceptional service, and building lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow catering business through proactive sales efforts, client outreach, and community engagement.
- Manage all aspects of event planning, from initial client inquiry through final execution, ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth operations.
- Collaborate closely with the banquet, culinary, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Prepare detailed proposals, contracts, and event orders, ensuring all client needs and hotel standards are met.
- Achieve or exceed catering sales goals and contribute to the hotel’s overall revenue targets.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of catering sales or event planning experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to close business.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with catering software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
