Job summary

Loews Chicago O'Hare seeks a strategic, results-driven Director of Catering Sales to lead and elevate our catering business. You will actively sell and service events while expanding market presence to position Loews Hotels as a premier destination for exceptional catering experiences.

You will inspire the team, strengthen client relationships, and drive revenue growth through collaboration with culinary, F&B, brand and PR teams.

Qualifications

Six years of catering sales experience in a full-service hotel.
CMP or CPCE designation preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Delphi or diagram-writing software.
Extensive knowledge of hotel support departments and PMS.
Ability to stand, sit, walk, reach and lift 35+ pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

Actively prospect and sell local catering business with the sales team.
Design customized site visit experiences that convert prospects into loyal clients.
Plan, coordinate, and service all booked catering events with flawless execution.
Lead training programs for Catering Managers to enhance skills.
Develop and implement annual catering sales strategies and promotions.
Represent the brand at local events to attract new business and strengthen community ties.
Analyze sales performance and refine strategies to meet revenue goals.
Collaborate with culinary and F&B teams to create menus and wedding packages.
Forecast catering revenues and manage budgets.
