Job summary

Catering Group in New York City is seeking a creative, reliable prep cook to join our catering team. You will prepare fruit platters and cheese boards, charcuterie and vegetable platters, sandwiches, wraps, and salads, plus breakfast and pastry trays.

Presentation matters and knife skills, organization, cleanliness, and speed are essential. Experience in catering, deli preparation, or a cold kitchen is preferred, with a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 6am–3pm.

Qualifications

• Prior catering or deli experience preferred.
• Must be able to work early mornings.
• Ability to produce visually appealing platters and presentations.

Job description

We're looking for someone creative, reliable, and detail-oriented to join our catering team. You'll be preparing and arranging:

Presentation matters. We want someone who enjoys making food look beautiful - from clean fruit cuts and layered arrangements to neatly assembled sandwich platters. Good knife skills, organization, cleanliness, and the ability to work quickly while keeping quality consistent are essential. Experience in catering, deli preparation, or a cold kitchen is preferred.
