Responsibilities include timely prep, accurate portioning, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen while following company policies. A flexible schedule supports event-driven demands and long hours when needed.

Qualifications

• Culinary experience with a caterer or restaurant.
• Ability to chop, dice, measure, read prep lists, and follow instruction.
• Safe food handling and safety is a top priority.
• Professional appearance and conduct.
• Capable of executing and following recipes.
• Team player.
• Ability to handle a physically demanding role (standing for long periods, lifting heavy loads).
• Ability to work a flexible and sometimes non-traditional schedule based on event demands.
• Hepatitis A Vaccination required.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at your station ready to work at scheduled time and in proper uniform.
• Complete prep lists in an efficient, timely manner.
• Use culinary knowledge in combination with company recipes when prepping or assisting with any other production step to ensure work is done efficiently and correctly.
• Use scales, measuring spoons, recipe cards and perform portion control tests.
• Maintain the kitchen and all of its equipment to a "like new" condition.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures and be a good example to fellow employees to do the same.
• Practice sanitation and food safety at all times.
