Job summary

Levy Restaurants at the Air Force Academy is seeking a Catering Supervisor to oversee all on-site catering operations, ensuring high-quality food production and exemplary service during events.

The role requires coordinating menus, supervising staff, and maintaining inventory and safety standards. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is essential, with opportunities to support premium department activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Comfortable in a loud, high-volume atmosphere.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Maintain excellent attendance and be able to work evening/weekend events as scheduled.
• Experience in catering or a high-volume environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review menu and production needs to oversee daily functions.
• Supervise catering to ensure systems and tools are used correctly.
• Visit guest service areas to assess satisfaction levels.
• Maintain knowledge of menu and products on hand during events.
• Assist Premium Department with administrative work including monthly inventory.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol service standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas and catering storage per sanitation/safety requirements.
• Adapt to shifting event locations across property and pivot between tasks.
