Job summary

Aramark is seeking a supervisor to oversee food service operations, train staff, and manage daily production to meet menu standards. The role ensures proper food handling, storage, and serving practices in a compliant, organized environment.

The position emphasizes staffing, scheduling, inventory control, vendor coordination, and ongoing staff development to maintain quality and efficiency across the operation.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
• Must complete a sanitation course either before or during the first year as a lead.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Maintain emotional control under stress.
• Ability to resolve interpersonal situations.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production records.
• Direct daily activities.
• Maintain food production to ensure safety and quality per policies and department requirements.
• Store food items safely in an organized, hazard-free environment.
• Maintain serving schedules and ensure menu specifications are followed.
• Maintain a sanitary department adhering to health and safety codes.
• Keep inventory accurate on a weekly basis.
• May prepare vendor orders to ensure accurate production for location.
• Knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program.
• Supervise and evaluate employees; counsel and promote growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork.
