Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years of catering, event management, or food services experience.
• Associate degree in Business Management, Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related field and experience in a leadership position preferred.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute catering events including meetings, conferences, banquets, and University events.
• Supervise staff, train, schedule, and ensure food safety and customer service standards.
• Coordinate with culinary team on food preparation, presentation, and portion control; manage event setups and breakdowns.
• Monitor budgets, inventory, and vendor coordination to ensure events stay within budget.
