Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Catering Service Worker Lead to supervise and support planning of catering events across central and satellite locations. This role ensures brand standards and initiatives are consistently met while promoting a safe, efficient service culture.

The lead will coordinate staff, manage event setup and breakdown, assist with menu costing, hiring and performance reviews, and liaise with vendors and clients to deliver exceptional experiences.

Qualifications

• Two years of operational experience in a hotel/banquet setting.
• Prior experience with booking of events is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises catering operations including staff coordination, setup, service and breakdown of events of varying size and complexity.
• Assists with booking events, menu costing, and pricing as needed.
• Assists with hiring, discipline, and performance reviews.
• Coordinates activities with other internal departments; interfaces with vendors and client organizations.
• Represents Aramark at meetings and events and ensures sanitation and safety standards.
• Participates in catering training programs and helps develop training for hourly staff.
