Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Catering Service Worker Lead in Maryland to supervise catering operations at central and satellite locations, ensuring brand standards and service quality.

The role focuses on planning events, coordinating staff, managing setup, and maintaining safety and sanitation. You will work with internal departments and vendors, support training, and help drive Aramark's service initiatives across client sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years operational experience in a hotel/banquet setting.
• Prior experience with booking of events preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises catering operations including staff coordination, setup, service, and breakdown of events.
• Books events, selects and costs menu items, and prices as needed.
• Assists with hiring, discipline, and performance reviews.
• Coordinates activities with internal departments; participates in management meetings.
• Interfaces with vendors and client stakeholders.
• Represents Aramark at meetings and events to foster external customer relations.
• Ensures sanitation, organization, and safety standards with checklists and supervision.
• Participates in catering training programs and helps develop training for hourly staff.
• Supports implementation of Aramark OpX Catering initiatives and guidelines.
