Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Catering Service Worker Lead to supervise and support catering events at central and satellite locations, ensuring adherence to brand standards.

Responsibilities include event booking, menu costing, staff coordination, and maintaining sanitation and safety with supervision. The role involves collaboration with internal departments and external clients, plus participation in training and OpX initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years operational experience in a hotel/banquet setting.
• Prior experience with booking of events preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises catering operations including staff coordination, setup, service, and breakdown for events of varying size and complexity.
• Booking of events, selecting and costing menu items, and pricing as needed.
• Assists with hiring, discipline, and performance reviews.
• Coordinates activities with other internal departments; participates in management team meetings; interfaces with vendors and client users.
• Facilitates external customer relations; represents Aramark and the client at meetings and events.
• Ensures sanitation, organization, and safety standards via checklists and hands-on supervision.
• Participates in catering training programs; helps develop and implement training for hourly, part-time, and student employees.
• Aids in implementation and adherence to Aramark OpX Catering initiatives and guidelines.
