Job summary

Chartwells Higher Ed, serving University of Arkansas – Fort Smith, coordinates catering staff schedules and oversees food preparation and service at scheduled functions. Qualifications

• A valid driver's license may be required.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler’s permit and/or alcohol server’s permit where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates workload and catering staff schedules to ensure timely service.
• Prepares and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision.
• May drive a truck to deliver food and beverages to catered functions.
• Discusses setup requirements with function group leaders and handles last‑minute changes.
• Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a service‑oriented manner.
• Ensures proper presentation, temperatures, and HACCP compliance.
