Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Catering Service Worker Lead to supervise catering operations, coordinate staff, and support events at central and satellite locations. The role emphasizes safety culture, proper setup, and customer relations, with responsibility for pricing, menu items, and training initiatives.

The position requires at least two years of hotel/banquet experience and may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, and standing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years operational experience in a hotel/banquet setting.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises catering operations including staff coordination, equipment setup, service and breakdown of catered foods and events of varying size.
• Booking of events, selection and costing of menu items, and pricing as needed.
• Assists with hiring, discipline, and performance reviews.
• Coordinates activities with other internal departments and vendors; represents Aramark at meetings and events.
• Ensures sanitation, organization, and safety standards through checklists and hands-on supervision.
• Participates in catering training programs and helps develop training for hourly, part-time, and student employees.
• Supports Aramark OpX Catering initiatives and guidelines.
