St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is seeking a Catering Specialist I to organize and schedule all catering functions across campus.

You will use catering software and effective verbal and written communication to manage event details, customer requests, and logistical operations, coordinating setups, deliveries, and billing as needed. The role emphasizes creating event orders, assisting with billing, and delivering exceptional guest experiences while liaising between clients and catering

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.
• Tennessee ABC Server Permit required within 90 days of hire.
• ServSafe Food Handler Training or ANSI-accredited program required within 30 days of hire.

• Perform, coordinate, and schedule all functions related to own area under supervision.
• Provide courteous and efficient customer service in dining or cafeteria settings.
• Maintain equipment inventory; assist in ordering replacement items/stock as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of own work areas (kitchen, dining areas, gift shop, storage).
• Understand regulatory standards to ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Maintain app ordering software; verify menus, assemble orders, and deliver to remote locations.
