Job summary

Stew Leonard's is looking for a Catering Coordinator to join our team in a full-time, hourly role. You will promote catering services by guiding customers through menu selections and event details, both in-store and over the phone.

Responsibilities include documenting orders, assisting with food quantities, maintaining current menus, and supporting kitchen and delivery operations while upholding health and safety standards. Weekend/holiday availability and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Weekend and holidays availability is required.
• At least one year experience with product knowledge.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) and in-house catering software.

Responsibilities

• Thorough knowledge of Stew Leonard’s catering menu, including holiday menus.
• Greet customers in-store and on the phone, accurately documenting order requirements.
• Assist customers with food selections based on event size and details.
• Return customer calls when necessary and ensure orders are well communicated to sales and kitchen teams.
• Maintain up-to-date menus and availability in-store.
• Ensure pricing accuracy and assist kitchen staff in order prep.
