Job summary

Mandalay Bay at MGM Resorts International is seeking a Catering Manager to bring extraordinary events to life, overseeing all catering and convention group service from turnover to billing. You will manage food and beverage programs, deposits, and banquet operations for high-volume groups in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of relevant experience in resort catering, exceptional customer service, and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• One year of prior relevant experience in catering/food & beverage in a resort or hospitality setting.
• Experience handling large-volume convention groups.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication with stakeholders.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage all group details from contract turnover to billing for catering and convention groups.
• Coordinate food, beverage, menu selections, and revenue tracking through group departure.
• Handle deposits, payments, and banquet event orders for catering groups.
• Book and service banquet space, conduct facility tours, and prepare banquet event orders.
• Attend pre-convention and weekly departmental meetings and maintain property standards.
