Job summary

Orlando Marriott Lake Mary is seeking a Catering Manager to lead planning and execution of catered events, working closely with clients to exceed expectations. You'll manage event logistics and coordinate with culinary and banquet teams to deliver seamless experiences that drive guest satisfaction and revenue.

The role suits an organized, customer-focused hospitality professional with a passion for event management.

Qualifications

A college degree or two years of hotel experience
Previous experience in a similar or related position
Additional consideration will be given to applicants who have completed special certifications

Responsibilities

You will build excellent relationships with clients, third parties, and community organizations in order to generate catering business for the hotel.
Your daily tasks will include prospecting for new business, responding to incoming RFPs and inquiries, executing contracts and BEOs, and communicating client expectations to the hotel team.
