Job summary

Panera Bread is seeking a Catering Lead in Indianapolis to manage catering orders and deliver memorable service at events. You will ensure on-time delivery, uphold food safety standards, and promote Panera catering to local businesses. A self-motivated team player who can thrive in a fast-paced setting is ideal.

You will assist with coordinating orders, building guest relationships, and contributing to a warm, growth-focused culture within the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 or older.
• Food safety understanding and training (Food Handler's Card per law).
• Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter with goal orientation and limited supervision.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Own vehicle for delivering orders with acceptable driving record.
• Flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 25–50 pounds and stand/walk up to 3 hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage and produce catering orders for guests.
• Provide warm, friendly service with proactive follow-ups.
• Deliver orders to guests' events as needed.
• Adhere to health and food safety standards.
• Maintain Panera's food quality standards.
• Market Panera Catering to local businesses, schools, and events.
• Assist Managers and Team Members as needed.
