Job summary

Hi-Pointe Drive-In is seeking a Catering Lead to oversee all store-level catering for a fast casual concept in St. Louis, leading a team with high standards for service and execution.

You will coordinate with the Brand Catering Manager, manage catering staff, ensure flawless event delivery, and drive a culture of hospitality where the team feels supported and empowered to exceed client expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
• Experience as a Catering Supervisor or similar role in hospitality
• Strong knowledge of catering operations, event execution, and food safety standards
• Excellent leadership skills to motivate and guide a diverse team
• Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities for multitasking
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client and staff interaction
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per event schedules
• Hepatitis A vaccination record

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating catering, ensuring details are communicated to the team for flawless execution
• Oversee setup and breakdown of catering spaces, maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Coordinate with culinary team to ensure timely delivery and freshness of food and beverages
• Address client or guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally
• Supervise and guide catering staff with the General Manager
• Collaborate with Catering Manager to understand client requirements and preferences for each order
• Communicate event details, including menu options and setup requirements, to staff
• Interact with clients during catering to ensure satisfaction and address concerns
• Foster positive client relationships by delivering personalized service
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain safe working environment
• Follow food handling and sanitation practices to uphold cleanliness and hygiene
• Monitor staff safety protocol adherence and provide training when needed
• Build a best-in-class team through training and development
• Serve as Hi-Pointe ambassador and uphold brand values
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by management
