Job summary

Panera Bread is hiring a Catering Lead to oversee catering orders, ensuring quality and timely delivery for events. You will engage guests, plan menus, and coordinate with the team to deliver a seamless catering experience.

Responsibilities include managing orders, delivering to events, maintaining health standards, and promoting Panera Catering to local businesses and schools. A strong focus on service, communication, and teamwork is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18
• Food Handler's Card or training as required by law
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Self-starter with goal-driven mindset
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Must have own vehicle for delivering orders and a valid driving record
• Flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift 25–50 pounds and stand/walk up to 3 hours
• Clear communication in loud environments

Responsibilities

• Manage and produce catering orders for guests.
• Provide warm, friendly service and proactive follow-ups to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Assist with delivering orders to events.
• Adhere to health and food safety standards.
• Maintain Panera's standards for food quality and presentation.
• Market Panera Catering to local businesses, schools and events.
• Support Managers and Team Members as needed.
• Contribute to a culture of warmth, belonging, growth and trust.
