Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Catering Service Worker Lead to supervise planning and execution of catering events in central and satellite locations. You will ensure brand standards are met and manage staff, equipment, and service flow for events of varying sizes.

The role involves event booking, menu costing, vendor coordination, and leadership in safety training and program adherence. This position may require physical activity and compliance with PPE guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years operational experience in a hotel/banquet setting.
• Prior experience with booking of events preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise catering operations including staff coordination, setup, service, and breakdown of catered foods and events.
• Booking of events, selecting and costing menu items, and pricing as needed.
• Assists with hiring, discipline, and performance reviews.
• Coordinates activities with other internal departments and vendors; participates in management meetings.
• Represents Aramark and the client at meetings and events.
• Ensures sanitation, organization, and safety standards via checklists and supervision.
• Participate in catering training programs and help develop trainings for hourly staff and students.
• Aid in implementation and adherence to Aramark OpX Catering initiatives.
