Job summary

Panera LLC is seeking a Catering Lead to manage event catering, coordinate orders, and ensure guest satisfaction with timely, friendly service. You will plan menus, respond to inquiries, and drive Panera Catering to local businesses, schools, and events while upholding health and safety standards.

The role requires staying flexible for evenings and weekends, driving to events, and maintaining Panera’s high quality and hospitality standards. This is a full-time on-site position in Shrewsbury, PA.

Qualifications

• Minimum age: 18 years.
• Basic food safety training (Food Handler’s Card, as required).
• Enjoy people with effective communication skills.
• Self-starter with limited supervision.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Must have a vehicle for delivering orders and a valid driving record.
• Flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift 25–50 pounds.
• Able to stand/walk up to 3 hours.
• Clear communication in loud environments.
• Be an ambassador of Panera’s Guiding Values and Behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Plan and help guests choose Panera dishes for events.
• Respond to inquiries and requirements for catering.
• Manage and produce catering orders.
• Create memorable experiences with warm, friendly service and proactive follow-ups.
• Assist with delivering orders to events.
• Adhere to health and food safety standards.
• Maintain Panera’s standards for food quality.
• Market Panera Catering to local businesses, schools, and events.
• Support Managers and Team Members as needed.
