Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Current ServSafe Food Handling Certificate required at hire or within 45 days of hire.
• Must have knife/cutting skills.
• Must have an understanding of cooking techniques.
• Culinary experience in restaurants, hotels, or catering companies or its equivalent required.
• Demonstrate the ability to take orders and follow through in a team-driven, fast-paced environment.
• Must be energetic, enthusiastic, creative, and highly motivated to assist in food preparation and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Train and direct new and existing Air Culinaire team members, ensuring accuracy of food, packaging, labeling, and allergens.
• Provide feedback to Kitchen Management to monitor and improve quality.
• Assist in butchering meats and fish and support daily kitchen operations.
• Ensure all food preparations and presentations meet ACW specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean kitchen, manage temp-logs, and follow food safety practices.
• Use preventive maintenance with kitchen equipment and guide others to do the same.
• Assist in ordering, inventory and other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
• Use Shipday for all order logistics and deliveries, including delivery photos and recipient names.
