Job summary

Shaver Hall, located in Midtown Manhattan, is seeking an Event Sales & Catering Manager to drive private dining and large party bookings. The role leads the full sales cycle, builds relationships with planners and corporate clients, and aims to exceed revenue targets with proactive prospecting and local marketing efforts.

The position offers base pay of $70,000–$75,000 with a 2% commission on revenue, plus health, dental, and vision insurance and 10 days of PTO to start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of restaurant sales experience in this market.
• Proficiency with sales software and booking platforms.

Responsibilities

• Solicit, negotiate, and secure new business with concierges, planners, and corporate clients.
• Generate new business through outbound prospecting and events.
• Build and maintain a pipeline to meet revenue goals.
• Prepare proposals and contracts for clients.
• Communicate pricing, deadlines, and menu details with clients.
• Follow up to drive repeat business and referrals.
• Own achieving individual sales goals tied to bookings.
