Abigail Kirsch in New York, NY is seeking an experienced Catering Sales Manager to drive growth of the catering department from inquiry to execution. You will lead event planning, actively sell the venue, and maintain strong client relationships, with uncapped commission potential.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of high-volume F&B/catering ops, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple events in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• 2+ years of experience overseeing high-volume food and beverage/catering operations.
• Experience in entrepreneurial and corporate business environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, management, vendors, and clients.
• Able to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business levels.

Aufgaben

• Direct Sales at unit level and develop new client relationships.
• Complete monthly KPI’s and prospecting/outbound sales.
• Negotiate, quote prices, close sales and finalize staffing for events.
• Coordinate event execution with onsite team and vendors.
• Create catering proposals covering menu, beverages, staff and equipment.
