IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a seasoned sales leader for InterContinental Washington D.C. – The Wharf.

The role focuses on developing and implementing group sales and marketing strategies, directing day-to-day sales activities, and driving revenue growth while maintaining guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate has five years in hospitality sales with supervisory experience, fluent English, and a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related field.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years total experience in a hospitality or hotel sales and marketing setting.
• Must speak fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities of the sales team, plan, organize, and assign work; develop and communicate strategies and goals.
• Develop and implement the total group sales and marketing strategy of the hotel to ensure revenue and room night sales goals are achieved.
• Achieve budgeted revenues and maximize profitability; drive the annual departmental operating budget, the marketing plan and business plan.
