Job summary

Eggs Up Grill Albany is seeking an Assistant Manager/Catering to ensure smooth shift operations and an exceptional guest experience while coordinating all catering events and overseeing client expectations.

Responsibilities include coordinating catering logistics, quality control of food and presentation, fostering strong client relations, coordinating store and staff needs, and maintaining detailed records. You will also lead fundraising events and manage staff scheduling and training.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum of restaurant or hospitality experience preferred.
• Experience delegating tasks and maintaining quick service.
• ServSafe Manager certification current or within 3 months of job acceptance.
• Understanding of kitchen health and safety regulations regardless of certification level.
• Proven work experience as Kitchen Manager preferred.
• References will be required.

Responsibilities

• Catering logistics and set-up: coordinate transportation, cooking assistance, setup and breakdown, ensuring equipment and supplies are ready for seamless execution.
• Quality control: monitor food quality, presentation and service, maintain brand image and consistency.
• Customer relations: focus on satisfaction, address client requests promptly, seek feedback for improvement.
• Store/staff coordination: communicate with GM and kitchen staff to ensure ingredients, equipment, and staff are available for catering and restaurant needs.
• Record keeping: maintain detailed client preferences, event details, and financial transactions.
• Fundraiser coordination: be the main contact during fundraising events and ensure a positive experience for clients and supporters.
• Management duties: lead shift employees, train new hires, assist with scheduling, process orders, ensure store cleanliness, and manage truck orders.
