Job summary

La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club Inc. seeks a Catering and Events Manager to drive event sales and manage a full range of catering services across the club venues.

You will respond to leads, craft compelling proposals, and coordinate with the culinary team to deliver exceptional experiences for clients. With a focus on guest satisfaction, you will oversee room setups, AV, decor, and all banquet orders, while upselling enhancements and maintaining strong relationships with planners and attendees.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience is preferred.
• Minimum of three years in a related role is required.

Responsibilities

• Sell and service events at La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club venues.
• Respond to leads and prepare proposals and contracts.
• Represent venues at events and liaise with banquet and culinary teams.
• Oversee food, beverage, setup, AV, and banquet orders for events.
• Upsell decor and specialty items for events.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure smooth event execution and client satisfaction.
