Job summary

Rooted Hospitality Group is seeking a passionate Catering & Events Manager to lead our growing catering and events program. You will guide guests from initial inquiry through event execution, build proposals, BEOs, and contracts, and ensure seamless event experiences.

You will lead the team, collaborate with restaurant leadership and chefs, and drive revenue growth through networking and exceptional guest relationships. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years in catering, hospitality, or event management.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with sales and operations and leading teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide guests from inquiry to event execution.
• Build proposals, BEOs, contracts, and timelines.
• Conduct venue tours and help clients design events.
• Lead event execution to exceed guest expectations.
• Collaborate with restaurant leadership, chefs, and event teams.
• Grow catering and events revenue through networking and referrals.
• Coach and support the catering and events team.
• Manage calendars, deposits, billing, and logistics in event software.
