Job summary

Grand View Lodge seeks a strategic, relationship-driven Director of Catering to lead and grow the catering and events operation. You will own the catering revenue line, develop sales and marketing strategies, and oversee a talented team, coordinating closely with culinary and operations to ensure flawless events.

Role requires proactive client management, contract negotiations, and a passion for hospitality. Flex hours and weekends are expected based on event schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hotel or resort catering or related sales experience.
• Direct supervisory experience over a sales or catering team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Sales, Marketing, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute catering sales strategies to maximize revenue monthly, quarterly and annually.
• Prospect and acquire new catering accounts while growing existing client relationships.
• Coordinate event details including room setup, AV, menus, décor and entertainment.
• Partner with Executive Chef on menu design, concept development and pricing.
• Hire, mentor and develop catering team members; manage budgets and forecasts.
• Represent Grand View Lodge at trade shows and industry events; share insights.
