Job summary

Jeffrey A. Miller Hospitality Group (JAM) is seeking experienced Catering Event Chefs for weddings and large catered events at regional venues. This hands-on role focuses on cooking and executing food service with an established event team.

Expect three-course receptions, cocktail hours, and events serving ~200 guests. Flexible part-time scheduling, Friday–Sunday availability, and opportunities to earn cash tips. Driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3–5 years of professional culinary experience preferred.
• Catering, banquet, event, or restaurant cooking experience.
• Proven ability to follow written recipes and detailed instructions.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food for weddings, cocktail hours, and catered events.
• Follow written recipes, menus, and preparation instructions to ensure quality.
• Execute consistent food presentation and service during large events.
• Coordinate with culinary team during preparation and service.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment.
• Handle menu items containing pork and alcohol.
