Job summary

Dickinson College is seeking a Bartender for catering/events to support Dining Services & Catering operations. You will assist with set up, execution, and clean-up of catered events and provide friendly service to students, faculty and staff.

Responsibilities include bar setup/teardown, serving cocktails and beverages, verifying IDs, and ensuring safe handling of alcohol. Shifts include days, evenings and weekends at campus events.

Qualifications

• Assist with set up, execution and clean-up of catered events.
• Must be 18+ and hold a current RAMP or TIPS certification for bartending.
• Verify identification and age requirements for served beverages.
• Prepare and responsibly serve alcoholic beverages including cocktails, wine, and champagne.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set up, execution, and clean-up of catered events.
• Serve food to event patrons and provide excellent customer service.
• Load/Unload catering trucks and manage bar inventory.
• Work required events/shifts as specified.
• Bar setup/tear-down and proper storage of beer, wine and liquor.
