Job summary

Dickinson College in Carlisle seeks a bartender for catered events on campus. You will set up, execute, and clean up events, verify age requirements, and ensure safe beverage service to students, faculty and staff.

Candidates must be 18+, hold a current TIPS or RAMP certification, and demonstrate reliable customer service, strong organization, and the ability to follow directions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Experience serving beverages to groups.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set up, execution, and clean-up of catered events.
• Prepare and responsibly serve alcoholic beverages including traditional cocktails, wine bottle service and champagne service.
• Bar set up/tear-down/inventory and proper storage of beer, wine and liquor.
• Serve food to event patrons.
