Job Summary

As a Catering Director, you will oversee catering and events, manage staff, build client relationships, and ensure the delivery of high-quality catering services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate and oversee internal and external catering events
2. Develop and maintain the catering marketing plan, including comprehensive event planning and menu development
3. Hire, train, and schedule catering staff; develop existing staff in service techniques, menu presentation, policies, and procedures
4. Ensure successful catering operations, including labor and food cost control, transportation, setup, operation, and cleanup

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality or Culinary Arts
• Minimum of 5 years in the hospitality industry, including 2 years in management (preferably catering management)
• Experience in menu costing, pricing contracts, and resourcing temporary help and equipment
• Ability to supervise food preparation, service, and cleanup
