Job summary

Corner Bakery Cafe in Plano, TX is seeking team members to support breakfast and lunch preparation, front- and back-of-house operations, and delivery duties. You will review prep sheets, assemble catering items, and help maintain clean and inviting dining areas.

Qualified candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent, English proficiency, and at least 3 months in guest service or a restaurant/retail environment. CBC driver training and ServSafe or Foodhandler certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, or in progress.
• Must complete CBC driver training and pass MVR per CBC standards.
• State Foodhandler card or ServSafe certification as applicable.
• Minimum 3 months' guest service or restaurant/retail experience.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Read, write and speak English.
• Proficient in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

Responsibilities

• Reviews prep sheets for food preparation.
• Begins and completes baking/food preparation.
• Assembles catering food in baskets, trays and bowls.
• Makes deliveries by vehicle or by foot as assigned.
• Responsible for breakfast and lunch preparation and set up for next day orders.
• Works FOH or BOH as required.
• Responsible for clean-up duties.
• Empties trash as required.
• Maintains abundant FOH displays and condiment stations.
• Checks bathrooms.
• Busses tables.
• Prepares food to spec and order request.
• Responsible for maintaining accurate cash flow and integrity of financial transactions.
• Prepare and organize food for delivery to guest.
