Job summary

Tony’s Market is seeking a Catering & Culinary Support Associate to assist our catering and market teams by staying organized, serving customers, and keeping products looking their best across locations.

You will work with the Prepared Foods Buyer, handle order details, update systems, support departments during busy periods, help set up displays, and participate in demonstrations and sampling events while following HACCP and sanitation rules.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
• Customer service oriented with professional conflict resolution.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook; experience with order-management systems.
• Knowledge of CaterTrax is preferred and travel between locations is required.
• Knowledge of prepared foods, catering, deli, bakery, cheese, or charcuterie is helpful.
• Adherence to food safety and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Help review catering and holiday orders for dates, quantities, and special requests.
• Enter and update information in catering systems and other systems after training.
• Contact customers with confirmations, updates, and substitutions.
• Share order details with catering managers, store teams, and commissary staff.
• Maintain simple spreadsheets, notes, and order records.
• Check catering supplies and packaging; report low items to a manager.
• Support store replenishment requests and communicate needs to the commissary.
• Assist Prepared Foods, Deli, Bakery, Cheese, and Charcuterie during busy periods.
• Set up seasonal displays, promotions, product launches, and holiday programs.
• Assist with cheese and specialty foods labeling, wrapping, and merchandising after training.
• Help with product demonstrations and sampling events including setup and cleanup.
• Complete other reasonable duties as assigned.
