Job summary

Tony’s Market in Castle Rock, CO is seeking a Produce Clerk to assist customers and prepare produce for sale. You will greet customers, help with selections, and maintain clean, organized displays.

Responsibilities include washing, peeling, cutting fruits and vegetables, weighing ingredients, packaging, rotating stock daily, labeling containers, and following HACCP and safety guidelines. Flexible schedule incl. holidays/weekends; 1–2 years produce experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 year previous produce experience preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers immediately and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Clean work areas, equipment, utensils, and dishes.
• Wash, peel and cut fruits/vegetables for packaging.
• Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients per recipes.
• Prepare items like guacamole, pico de gallo, salads following recipes.
• Package produce items per company guidelines.
• Rotate, stock and cull through all sales floor produce items daily.
• Store and label food to prevent spoilage.
• Inform supervisors when supplies are low or equipment malfunctions.
• Assist with specials projects and other duties as assigned.
