Qualifications

• 2–5+ years in hospitality or service industry.
• Excellent customer service and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and solve problems while keeping a customer-first mindset.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers to understand catering needs.
• Plan menus with chefs and management.
• Coordinate delivery of food and beverages on campus.
• Manage catering execution and provide direction and feedback.
• Ensure health and safety regulations in all food service areas.
• Set up, break down, and clean up catering events.
• Manage budgeting, invoicing, contracts, and payments.
• Maintain catering supplies and equipment and keep detailed event records.
• Assist in preparation and serving of food and beverages as needed.
• Operate and maintain Surge restaurant application.
• Perform other cafe tasks as assigned.
