Job summary

Power Design’s Surge Café at our corporate headquarters in St. Pete is seeking a Catering Coordinator to join our team.

You will build relationships with PDI employees and guests, ensure a high-quality PlusONE customer service experience, and coordinate daily catering operations with chefs and management. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in hospitality, excels at client communication, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while keeping a customer-first mindset aligned with Power Design's core

Qualifications

• At least 2–5 years of experience in hospitality/service.
• Excellent customer service, patience and a friendly demeanor.
• Engaging and outgoing personality to build relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and problem-solve with a customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Communicating with customers and clients to understand catering needs and expectations.
• Planning menus in conjunction with chefs and management.
• Coordinating and overseeing the delivery of food and beverages on campus.
• Managing catering execution and providing direction and feedback.
• Maintaining health and safety regulations at all food service areas.
• Setting up, breaking down, and cleaning up catering events.
• Handling client concerns and complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Managing budget and invoicing, ensuring payments and contracts are in order.
• Managing catering supplies and equipment.
• Maintain detailed records of all catering events.
• Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages as needed.
• Manage and maintain Surge restaurant application.
• Other cafe tasks as assigned.

While working at the on-campus café at our corporate headquarters in sunny St. Pete, you will play a pivotal role in helping keep our culture fueled by building relationships with our PDI employees and guests. We are seeking candidates who can work in an evolving environment and deliver our \"PlusONE\" raving‑fan customer service experience to the PDI Family.

Position Details/responsibilities …
