• 2–5 years of experience in hospitality/service industry.
• Excellent customer service skills, patience and friendliness.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers to understand catering needs and expectations.
• Plan menus with chefs and management.
• Coordinate and oversee on-campus food/beverage delivery.
• Manage catering execution and provide direction/feedback.
• Maintain health and safety regulations at all food service areas.
• Set up, break down and clean up catering events.
• Address client concerns and complaints professionally.
• Manage budgeting and invoicing, ensuring payments/contracts are in order.
• Manage catering supplies and equipment.
• Maintain detailed records of events.
• Assist in food/beverage prep as needed.
• Maintain Surge restaurant application.
• Perform other café tasks as assigned.

The Power Design Surge Café is seeking a Catering Coordinator to join our growing team. While working at the on-campus café at our corporate headquarters in sunny St. Pete, you will play a pivotal role in helping keep our culture fueled by building relationships with our PDI employees and guests. We are seeking candidates who can work in an evolving environment and deliver our "PlusONE" raving-fan customer service experience to the PDI Family.

• Communicating with customers and clients to understand their catering needs and expectations.
• Planning menus in conjunction with chefs and management.
• Coordinating and overseeing the delivery of food and beverages on campus.
• Managing catering execution and providing direction and feedback.
• Maintaining health and safety regulations at all food service areas.
• Setting up, breaking down, and cleaning up catering events.
• Handling client concerns and complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Managing budget and invoicing, ensuring payments and contracts are in order.
• Managing catering supplies and equipment.
• Maintain detailed records of all catering events.
• Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages as needed.
• Manage and maintain Surge restaurant application.
• Other cafe tasks as assigned.
