Job summary

DO & CO AG in New York is seeking a Catering Cook to join our luxury global gourmet entertainment team. The role requires hands-on cooking, attention to high-quality standards, and the ability to work across multiple stations to meet tight deadlines.

We offer a pay range of $22.29–$28.50 per hour, daily meals, and full-time benefits including 401K and medical coverage. You’ll join a company delivering hospitality for banquets, events, and airline catering worldwide.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of kitchen experience, preferably with high-volume production.
• Knowledge of ingredients, measuring techniques, mixing methods, kitchen equipment, and cooking times.
• Full-time cook, energetic, hardworking, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Culinary arts certificate or relevant field is a plus.
• Flexibility to work various shifts according to business needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook items according to specification/recipe.
• Ensure that all dishes served meet the DO & CO standard.
• Lead by example, preparing and cooking dishes.
• Monitor wastage and complete assigned tasks on multiple stations within the given time to meet strict deadlines.
• Maintain work areas clean and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook.
• Report problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety team.
