Job summary

Manor Vail Lodge in Vail, CO is seeking a Catering & Conference Services Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute all catering and conference events, serving as the primary liaison between group leaders and the operations team for a seamless guest experience.

You will lead event logistics, client communications, budgeting and scheduling, and work with vendors and internal departments on-site, including evenings and weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management preferred; 2+ years of related experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact professionally with clients and teams.
• Proficiency with MS Office; experience with event-management software (Delphi) and audiovisual coordination.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute all catering and conference events; manage timelines and room setup diagrams.
• Serve as the primary liaison for group leaders and clients from inquiry through post-event follow-up.
• Prepare banquet event orders, schedules, budgets, and rolling revenue forecasts; ensure timely billing.
• Advise on menu selection and banquet logistics; identify vendor opportunities and upsell where appropriate.
• Attend cross-functional meetings; coordinate with vendors and internal departments; be on-site during events.
• Provide administrative support for the Sales and Catering office and maintain professional grooming standards.
